Job Description
We’re looking for a highly organised People Operations Associate to join Bilue’s growing team. You’ll be the engine behind our hiring success, coordinating recruitment processes and sourcing top talent across all teams.
Beyond recruitment, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the business by lending a hand across operations, from onboarding and team events, to ensuring internal systems are up to date. We’re looking for someone with a commercial mindset who’s comfortable jumping in to help where needed, whether that’s assisting Finance, Delivery, or IT to keep things moving.
Recruitment
- Partner with hiring managers and the HRBP to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing through to offer, across mobile, web, cloud, delivery, BA, QA, and design roles.
- Draft and update job descriptions to align with hiring requirements, and manage job postings across relevant platforms.
- Conduct initial resume reviews and phone screens to assess candidate suitability and alignment with role requirements.
- Manage interview scheduling and coordination for technical interviews, ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and interviewers.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to ensure quick turnarounds on hiring needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS, and regularly share hiring progress with relevant stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with candidates and contribute to an exceptional candidate experience.
- Support broader talent initiatives, including employer branding, recruitment marketing and participation in industry events.
Employee Experience
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new Biluers, including setting them up in the HRIS, coordinating welcome communications and swag, and ensuring systems and tools access is provisioned ahead of their start date.
- Welcome new hires on Day 1 and guide them through the onboarding checklist, introducing them to key people, processes, and tools to ensure a smooth and engaging start to their journey at Bilue.
- Assist with the probation process, including scheduling 30- and 90-day check-ins.
- Maintain a smooth offboarding experience, including system access removal, HRIS updates, and coordinating exit surveys.
Operations
- Continuously improve people and operations processes by identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and reducing manual admin through smart use of tools and automation.
- Work closely with the HRBP to coordinate company-wide events and social initiatives that strengthen team culture.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office, creating a welcoming, well-stocked, and functional environment for the team.
- Support the Finance and Sales teams by maintaining up-to-date data, assisting with reporting tasks, and ensuring relevant documentation is accurate and organised.
- Assist the Delivery team with coordinating project onboarding and ensuring smooth handovers for new starters on client projects.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to help streamline cross-functional processes, support internal initiatives, and keep day-to-day activities running smoothly across the business.
Qualifications
You’re confident recruiting for technical roles such as software engineers and UX/UI designers, and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to recruitment. You’re agile, resourceful, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done. You enjoy wearing many hats and pitching in wherever needed, because you know variety is the spice of life, and no two days are the same at Bilue!
Additionally:
- You have 2–3 years’ experience in recruitment, HR, or operations, ideally in a tech environment.
- You're highly organised, proactive, and thrive on juggling multiple priorities with a calm and solutions-focused mindset.
- You’re tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn, HRIS platforms, and Google Suite.
- You’re comfortable managing recruitment processes end-to-end and understand what great candidate and employee experiences look like.
- You’re a natural communicator who builds trust easily and enjoys working cross-functionally with people from all parts of the business.
- You’re detail-oriented and tech-savvy, with a knack for spotting inefficient processes and finding smarter ways to do things.
- You’re curious, collaborative, and always looking for ways to learn, improve, and make a positive impact.
