We are looking for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our CMN Pharmacy team in a temporary, full-time position. Our Pharmacy Team is integral to the delivery of high-quality health care. The Pharmacy department provides a comprehensive pharmacy service to patients during their admission to hospital and for those attending outpatient clinics. The dedicated pharmacy team work collaboratively to provide medications in a safe and timely manner with a focus on patient-centred care. - Assist with the provision of pharmacy services to wards, clinics and departments at CMN.
- Support vital pharmacy operations by assisting in medication dispensing, extemporaneous manufacturing and pre-packing under pharmacist supervision.
- Perform daily imprest supply to wards and departments and assist with ward stock control. Play a hands-on role in maintaining dispensary efficiency including unpacking orders, rotating stock, and preparing daily workspaces.
- Ensure safety and compliance by monitoring fridge temperatures, managing expiry dates, and supporting stocktake activities.
- Be part of a dynamic team contributing to seamless daily and weekend operations and assisting across all Pharmacy areas to ensure quality patient care.
- Completion of a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course of Certificate Level IV or equivalent
- Demonstrated pharmacy dispensing experience with high level competency
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively as an effective team member in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Demonstrated high attention to details and high accuracy at work
- Demonstrated ability to integrate well with the other team members
