What we are looking for:
Applications are invited for the position of Physical Education Teacher to join the staff of St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School, Mackay. This is a part-time contract position for 18hpw, to commence from 20 January 2026 until 18 January 2027.

- Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
- Evidence of successfully passing the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students
- Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
- Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton

St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School is a vibrant forward thinking Catholic community situated in West Mackay. Opened in 1935 by the Sisters of Mercy, the student population has grown from 23 to 570 as a 3 stream, co-educational facility. Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
