Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring for a Player Services Assistant to join our Player Services team to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full-time fixed-term contract from October 2025 to February 2026.

About the role
In this role you will:
- Provide comprehensive support for player services, including the administration of visas, accreditation, accommodation, and other player needs as required in the lead-up to the tournament
- Ensure a high-level of professional service by promptly directing player inquiries to the relevant tournament areas during the event
- Monitor communication channels for players and deliver timely updates
- Assist in the planning, design, and setup of player areas at the AO
- Support with player gifting and entertainment
- Support in the supervision of the Player Services Team
- Assist with the promotion and supervision of Player Activations and Championship Celebrations
- Offer administrative support in developing training sessions and operational manuals for player services
- Collaborate with Tennis Australia departments and external suppliers
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to effectively time-manage and prioritise conflicting tasks to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in situations requiring complex decision-making
- Highly developed computer skills with experiences in databases and Microsoft suite
- Proven experience in events, event management, sports administration or similar
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
