The Role
Reporting to the Pool Superintendent and based in Richmond NSW, the primary purpose of this role is to supervise use of the swimming centre in line with Council policies and procedures. Manage daily facility operations (including and not limited to) Swimming Pool Water, Kiosk, Reception, Building, Facility, Grounds and Administration.
- Available shifts will vary and include morning, school hours, and after school, weekends
- Weekday hours between 5:30am – 8:30pm
- Weekend hours between 7am – 8pm (Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts)
- Positions available from October to April
About You
You are self-motivated with a high level of work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Your excellent communication and customer experience skills support a diverse range of patrons. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with physical fitness required to perform all duties associated with the role.
Essential Criteria
- Current Pool Lifeguard Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Previous Pool Lifeguard experience
- Previous cash handling/ reconciliation experience
- Previous experience in swimming pool maintenance; Kiosk operation; Reception duties
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
