The Patient Support Services team is comprised of seven essential units that work collaboratively to ensure the smooth operation and safety of the healthcare environment. These units include Cleaning, which maintains hygiene and infection control standards; Linen, responsible for the supply and management of hospital textiles; Waste, which handles the safe and efficient disposal of various waste streams; and Porterage, which supports the movement of patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility. The Help Desk serves as a central communication hub, coordinating service requests and support tasks. CELS (Central Equipment Loan Service) provides and manages the distribution of medical equipment to support clinical care.
