We aim to support and empower individuals on the spectrum and their families to bring about meaningful change based on functional goals. We work in partnership with the individual and their support network to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop support strategies that build capacity and work with participant's interests. We meet participants in their community setting to support building inclusive environments to suit their needs and work on transferrable skills that relate to their everyday lives.
We are currently looking for a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner or will support the right candidate with the registration process, however will be required prior to start date. We offer a very strong individualised support and supervision structure that assists in development of learning & career goals.
Qualifications
What you bring:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant allied health discipline (Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work etc.) or Education
- Registration for providing behaviour support services with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Commission
- Current driver’s licence, use of own vehicle for business purposes (reimbursed per km) and willingness to travel across your local community
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
- Working with Children Check for paid employment for the state you reside in
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ certificate. If you have not already completed the free module, click here to access it.
- You may be required to provide an international police clearance
