We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking BBQ Cleaner to service council-owned BBQ facilities across Cairns region. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in cleanliness, and wants to make a visible impact in the community.
About the Role:
- Clean and sanitise public BBQs at parks and recreational areas
- Remove grease, food residue, and debris
- Ensure BBQ areas are tidy, safe, and presentable
- Work independently and follow set cleaning schedules
- Report any damage or maintenance issues
What We’re Looking For:
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions
- Eye for detail and high cleaning standards
- Valid driver’s licence (essential)
- Clean police check (essential)
- White Card and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
- Must be willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing, if required

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
