Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive Arabic language lessons for primary school students
- Prepare lesson plans and learning materials that align with the Australian Curriculum
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress, and maintain accurate student records
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and professional development opportunities
What we're looking for
- Relevant teaching qualifications and registration to teach in Queensland
- Demonstrated experience teaching Arabic language in a primary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and experience with differentiated teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents and colleagues
- Commitment to promoting Islamic values and supporting the mission and ethos of the College
