Job Description
- Lead a variety of consultancy projects for our infrastructure clients, from technical advice to transformational programs.
- Identify, pursue, and deliver work for power sector clients, with the support of our Technical Directors and Consultants/Senior Consultants.
- Develop follow-on opportunities contribute to growing our presence in the power sector.
- Work with global colleagues to deliver work, grow our organisational knowledge, and contribute to the development of new services.
- Be a part of our team’s leadership, with line management for junior consultants, and a desire to mentor and support their development.
- This role may include short-term travel across Australia and New Zealand.
Qualifications
Required:
- Degree level qualification preferred (engineering, business, economics, or other relevant field), or technical qualifications gained in industry
- Significant experience working in the power sector in Australia (across generation, distribution or transmission)
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks for the power sector, and deep understanding of sector challenges and opportunities in Australia and New Zealand
- Experience leading teams to deliver quality outcomes, including line management, performance management and mentoring
- Growing professional networks through proactive industry engagement and professional membership bodies
- Proven experience delivering quality service to internal or external customers, with good communication and ability to build rapport
- Business planning, including commercial management, risk management and planning
Desirable experience (not essential):
- Asset management capability assessment and improvement road-mapping.
- Delivering transformational, multi-year programs
- Power sector safety and technical planning, particularly in NSW and VIC
- Asset management software system management or implementation
