About the role:
The digital team create and deliver the digital experience of Ampol Group's brands to power better journeys for our customers. We unify customer experience across physical and digital channels, build and deliver products where technology meets our customers – web, app, and retail.
- An omnichannel strategy for customers; integrating our physical and digital channels for a unified customer experience
- Product Managed Digital experiences that establish deeper connections and meaningful interactions
- Human-Centred Design for Customer and User Experience
- Centres of Excellence for the digital ecosystems where technology meets our customers - across Retailing, Loyalty Apps, and Websites
As Product Management Lead, you’ll lead the design, development and optimisation of new and existing products and experiences brought to live in our mobile apps, websites and/or other experience channels. The Product Management Lead provides people leadership to a nimble team of Product Managers who specialise in mobile app, online and other product experiences, and develops the capability of the community of practice.
You’ll take us further by:
- Build/develop product management capacity (immediate team and group wide)
- Defining and delivering the product strategy and roadmap for mobile apps and websites.
- Continuous delivery of value in alignment with our group strategies.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of the life cycle of a product or set of products, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Stay abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position.
- Execute key digital product/service life-cycle activities, planning and aligning with procurement and distribution
- Developing standard processes and tooling requirements to support asset life-cycle management.
- Uncover emerging issues or needs, identifying potential causes, barriers, and key stakeholders, as well as related issues.
We’d love it if you have:
- Digital Product Management Experience – Including loyalty and reward programs, driving customer acquisition/retention, and building experiences that connect the digital and instore experience
- Strong commercial acumen – Able to communicate strategy and outcomes in terms of ROI
- Product Management Practice Leadership – Creating capability frameworks, coaching/mentoring, and facilitating product practice at a group level
- Experience in B2C and B2B
- Adjacent sector experience such as banking or payments
