Production Assembly Worker

Job description

To be successful our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously. The ideal candidate must also:

• Be available to work Monday - Friday 7.00 am - 3.00 pm
• To be highly organised and possess great time management skills
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a "can do" attitude
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Be reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must hold a valid Forklift licence
• Be safety conscience and adhere to all company OHS policies

Tasks & responsibilities

• General production and assembly work
• Assisting in picking and packing customer orders (both cartons and pallets) with accuracy and a high attention to detail
• Working to deadlines to ensure we meet and exceed our customer expectations in delivering their goods on-time
• Assisting in dispatch of orders
• Manual handling of stock boxes including heavy lifting
• Maintaining stock areas and performing stock takes
• The safe operation of a forklift vehicle including the loading and unloading of trucks.
• General warehouse duties and keeping the warehouse area clean and safe
• Following business and warehouse operation procedures and guidelines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
