We currently have an opportunity for two Temporary Production Operators on Day Shift at our Nestle Broadford Factory.
Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, achieving production targets and maintaining a high standard of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Main duties of the position:
- Participate in safety programs including Shift Risk Prediction/Take 5, Workplace Safety Inspections, defect tagging and key standard routines
- Follow workplace quality assurance procedures and techniques
- Complete standard practices/procedures of an operator
- Share learnings and adopt procedural improvements to reduce/eliminate line loss
- Complete SAP transactions / Digitial Manufacturing Operations administration as required
- Undertake improvement activities in the workplace as required
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work area
- Other duties as required by the Line Manager

- Work safely and within the guidelines of site work instructions
- Time management skills & the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision- flexibility to work overtime as required
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Experience working in a team environment to meet the production schedule
- Attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Basic knowledge of the use of email and ability to enter data
