THE OPPORTUNITY
Want to develop your career with a national leader in home improvement products? Join Stratco in a hands-on, manufacturing position where you can learn various machines and take the next step in your career!
This position will be primarily responsible for operating heavy machinery to produce various timber products created for roofing support. This position involves working as part of our collaborative operations team - reporting to the Operations Manager.
We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and a willingness to help the team where needed. If you have the motivation to learn, then we can teach you on the job!
This is afull-time role - working 38 hours per week from 7am until 3:30pm, Monday to Friday with potential overtime.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manufacturing goods to the customers' requirements
- Interpret product drawings
- Program machines according to job specifications
- General tidiness and maintenance of the manufacturing facility
- Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
- Prior experience in manufacturing environment is advantageous, but not essential
- A commitment to producing quality products with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in the manufacture of trusses is desirable
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
