Purpose of the position
The Business is a small manufacturing facility in Campbellfield. We are HACCP accredited, Dairy Safe (Vic) licenced and manufacture fresh products with some higher-risk ingredients. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge (and appreciation) of Food Safety principles. You will be part of a small team that works closely, collaboratively and across functions.
As we are a small team you will be working across functions and across manufacturing lines. This role suits people who can multi task as it is unlikely you will be doing just one task at a time.
You will report to a Production Manager but all in the factory must take direction and instruction by our Quality Manager to ensure safe production of all our products.

Work Safely
· Be familiar with OHS rules and procedure
· Wear safety clothing and equipment provided
· Ensure your own and teams’ safety at all times by clear communication especially when safety process breaches occur
· Report to Manager all concerns
Food Hygiene
· Ability to follow all cleaning and handling processes in the production room
· At all times to follow hand-washing, gloving and sanitation instructions
· Able to ensure all individual products are properly sealed, clean and presentable
Equipment Cleaning and Maintenance
· Required to follow all cleaning and sanitation instructions of equipment and utensils at all times. This includes at beginning of day, end of product run and end of day
· Able to follow all cleaning schedules and instructions to ensure production room is maintained to HACCP standards
Assembly of Machines
· Required to assemble equipment and machines ready for production
Machines Operation
· Be experienced or comfortable with operating mixing and filling-line machinery
· Refill lidding, cups etc
Preparation of Ingredients & Batches
· Able to follow recipes, cooking processes and prepare ingredients for use
· Ensure Batch Traceability Sheets all fully completed with accurate information
· Able to ensure accuracy of quantities
· At all times ensuring no contamination of ingredients
· At all times ensuring quality of product and report any discrepancies to Management
· Ensure no undue wastage of ingredients
· Ensure correct labels and use-by dates
Packing of Products into Boxes
· Check that cups are sealed off production line
· Check that Use-by dates are legible
· Able to pack finished product into cartons. Ensure cartons are clean, properly sealed and that product is stored in cool room in a timely manner
Team Collaboration
· Able to work collaboratively with small Production team

Pay: $31.23 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
