About the Role
The Projects and Service Specialist plays a key role in supporting projects and projects managers in Corporate Services and across the organisation. This position support understanding and best practices outlined by the Project Management Framework. Key responsibilities include providing project support, facilitating upskilling, overseeing project progress, and administering the Project Hub tool.
Additionally, the role supports the Enterprise Services Management (ESM) tool across the Corporate Services teams, promoting its use and collaboration across teams. The role has a strong customer service focus and aims to support and guide Corporate Services' delivering to meet business needs, while fostering positive relationships with frontline teams.
Duties
- Work on a range of projects in the team and across the Division, including a variety of project activities from facilitation, to change project management, to requirements gathering.
- Act as a point of contact for Project Hub and the ESM tool to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to ensure smooth project/service delivery.
- Focus on customer service excellence within Corporate Services, implementing this into all areas of your work.
- Quality check and monitor projects and team SLAs to ensure they are following frameworks as required.
- Be a knowledgeable point of contact for all things Project Management Framework and Enterprise Service Management policies.
- Contribute to team effectiveness by offering value adding suggestions at meeting, providing feedback / comments and support to others which aim to improve team performance and assist other members of the team.
- Support the Corporate Services approach to holistic service delivery.
- Create and maintain project documentation as required including recording of risks and issues.

- Starting salary of $93,613 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay).

COVID-19 Requirements
- Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged.
- Minimum three years' experience in projects, business, service delivery, or related roles.
- Diploma or higher in Business Administration or any relevant field to ATSICHS Brisbane and Corporate Services.
- Demonstrated experience in working or projects.
- A high level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to build relationships and influence others effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
- Ability to apply a high-level of critical thinking and personal insight to work situations.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in using project management tools.
- National Police Certificate.
- Current Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or eligible to apply.
- Driver's Licence.
- Evidence of Work Rights.
- Travel between work sites on a regular basis.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in any relevant field to ATSICHS Brisbane and Corporate Services.
- Qualifications in an industry recognised project management discipline such as PRINCE 2, PMBOK, and/or Agile.
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and / or communities.
- Experience in the health and community services sector.
- Experience in project management frameworks such as PRINCE 2 or PMBOK.
- Experience in gathering business requirements.
- Experience in Change Management activities.
