About The Venue
Promenade is a vibrant and dynamic restaurant located in the heart of Bondi Beach. Our team is passionate about providing excellent service in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
About the Role
We are currently seeking both experienced Section Waiters and Cocktail Dispense Bartender (barista skills an added bonus!) to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment with a strong focus on efficiency and consistency
Responsibilities:
Bartender
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages with high attention to detail.
- Operate dispensing systems and equipment efficiently to maintain quality and consistency
- Collaborate with the bar team to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, anticipating their needs and preferences
- Uphold our standards of excellence in hospitality, striving to exceed guest expectations
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines and RSA regulations
Section Waiter
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the menu and beverage offering.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Ensure guest preferences and dietary needs are noted on order
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Anticipate guests' needs and provide engaging and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Oversee a busy section with a consistently high volume of guests.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area, including polishing silverware and glassware.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Participate in food, beverage, and service training sessions.
- Support fellow team members in other sections when needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- RSA certification and any relevant qualifications and/or certifications in bartending/mixology (should this apply to you)
