Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Purchasing and Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies for site-specific goods and services. This role leads a small team within the Site Purchasing function and plays a key role in executing both group and site-based sourcing strategies.
With a strong focus on operational excellence, the manager will ensure procurement activities are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with Crown’s values and business requirements. The role also involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to integrate purchasing and supply strategies that support the property’s operational goals.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies for site-specific goods and services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Engage with business units to understand needs and provide strategic procurement advice
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procurement procedures
- Provide leadership, training, and development to team members
Qualifications
About you
You’ll bring the following:
- Proven experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Experience in hospitality or fast-paced operational environments preferred
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or Finance desirable
