Reporting to the Optimisation and Inventory Manager you will coordinate the implementation of all quality control processes to ensure the site meets all testing and verification requirements.
Working alongside the production team to ensure working compliance the role will be responsible for monitoring all CCP’s and QCP across the site.
You will also:
Ensure that the specified Corrective Action is followed when there are breaches in the Critical Limit.- Summarising issues and preparing reports for senior leadership in detail.
- Coordinate the submission for laboratory testing and monitoring and reporting of test results to ascertain the safety of the products produced on site.
- Liaise with contractors responsible for laboratory testing, pest management, cleaning and chemical supply to ensure that procedures related to these activities are being followed and are updated when necessary.
- Coordinate checks on good manufacturing processes and measurement of Key Performance Indices which requires line verification and product checks.
- Reporting breaches to breaches to Food Safety, Quality and other related compliance requirements – H & S, Environment
At least 5 years’ experience in similar Food Manufacturing environment (preferred)- Bachelor Degree in Food Technology and Related Sciences (preferred)
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, HACCP and FSP
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Proven experience in trouble shooting and fault finding in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Confident interpersonal communication, organisation and time management skills
