Our Opportunity
PROK is seeking a Quality Coordinator, reporting to our HSEQ Manager, to play an integral part of the Quality process. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Bayswater, WA.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain material traceability, ensuring certificates are stored on shared drive and easily retrievable.
- Review of Supplier documentations in line with ITP and PO requirements before filing them away electronically for final MDR compilation.
- Review and confirm the adequacy of technical review of vendor data submissions typically including ITPs, material certificates, NDT reports, Paint reports and other technical documentation.
- Liaise with supplier, and internal teams’ production, engineering, and procurement resolve issues
- Prepare and compile MDR for new builds as well as for aftermarket products and update the MDR progress register.
- Attend MDR review meeting with customers and clarify issues, deficiencies in the MDR and take notes and actions accordingly as per contract deliverable requirements.
- Assist HSEQ Manager in supplier quality development, reviewing supplier ITPs and attend inspections activities at suppliers as and when required.
- Coordinate Notice of inspection to customer and Third-party inspectors for production and supplier guided by HOLD or WITNESS points on ITP.
- Assist with developments of project-based quality plans, procedures, and ITPs.
- Support in project Quality documents review/contract review and provide feedback to team.
- Take an active role in the team’s project administration, document control, quality assurance and OHS activities.
- Investigate non-conformances, and support in implementing robust corrective actions
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures
- Raise hazard cards into the toolbox system as and when they arise during your day.
- Support in writing and delivering both Quality and safety one point lesson documents.
The Right Person
This position is ideal for a proactive Safety professional with experience in heavy manufacturing environments and a focus on process improvement. To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:
- Minimum 2 years in a coordinator’s role.
- Experience in collating MDR documents.
- Desirable - Internal auditing experience (internal auditor qualification is highly desirable)
- Ability to create new processes and procedures, update documents., forms, flow charts.
- Knowledge of various ISO and AS standards such as A1444/AS1448/AS1554/AS3678.
- Integrated HSEQ Management Systems knowledge.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
