About the Opportunity
The Quality Systems Specialist, part of the Governance & Assurance team, is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS) and associated tools, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, supporting audits, managing documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support work undertaken in a complex environment where schedule, customer service, risk management and obtaining value-for-money outcomes are paramount
- Administer and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ASC’s ISO & NATA certifications
- Support the business with updating the Corporate Management System (CMS) and with their document control processes, including creation, revision, approval, and archiving of quality documents
- Support the Governance & Assurance team’s audit programs by assisting with creating and following up on corrective actions
- Maintain electronic quality systems and databases
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience in quality systems administration, preferably gained in a construction or heavy industry environment within a complex, multinational organisation
- Be familiar with the application of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and other relevant standards
- Demonstrate experience with document control, corrective action management and electronic QMS platforms
- Ideally have worked in a heavily regulated industry such as defence, pharmaceuticals or aerospace
