The Opportunity:
This is your chance to step into a pivotal role that ensures our quarry operations remain safe, sustainable and fully compliant with all regulatory and environmental standards. As our Quarries Compliance Specialist, you’ll bring your expert knowledge and collaborative style to drive excellence across multiple quarries. You’ll lead compliance practices and shape how we operate in alignment with legislative and environmental obligations.
You’ll work closely with quarry management, regulators and operational teams to embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement - helping to protect our people, our environment and our license to operate.
About you:
You're compliance-savvy, confident in your technical knowledge and comfortable guiding both regulators and operational teams. You enjoy getting on the ground to understand how things work and proactively address risks before they escalate.

- Tertiary qualifications in quarry management, health & safety management, geology, or a related field - or significant quarry management experience
- Quarry Practising Certificate (essential)
- A strong understanding of quarry operations, regulations and environmental management practices
- Demonstrated experience in high-risk environments with a strong safety focus
- Proven ability to influence diverse stakeholders including contractors, regulatory agencies and senior leaders
- Incident investigation and reporting experience
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with a proactive mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to simplify the complex and bring others on the journey
