About Us
At Greencross Vets Coreen Avenue, we pride ourselves on our friendly, team-based approach. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals in a fun, easy-going environment where everyone is dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care—and where many of our loyal clients have trusted us for over 20 years.
This is a full or part time role greeting our furry friends, answering busy phone lines, and scheduling appointments for multiple veterinarians - ensuring every pet and owner feels welcome, informed, and cared for!
You can choose to work either part-time 4 days a week 9am-6pm, or full-time Monday-Friday. No weekends required!
What We’re Looking For:
- Customer-facing experience with animal industry background
- Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written, and digital
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask under pressure with a calm, compassionate demeanour
- Confident with scheduling systems and basic account management
- A team player with a genuine passion for animal care
- Cert II or III not essential but would be advantageous!
The Role:
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with the veterinary team
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information on our services
- Handle client check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and maintain accurate records
- Manage electronic and paper files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
- Assist with general office tasks, including filing and data entry
- Address client concerns and provide support in a friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area
