In this role, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for the appointment of temporary agency staff, ensuring timely placement of candidates to meet fluctuating workforce demands. In this role you will act as the key liaison between hiring managers and staffing agencies, ensuring successful placement of temporary agency staff, compliance with onboarding requirements, internal governance and procurement procedures, organisational policies, reporting and analysis, budget management and workforce planning strategies.
A little bit about the role
In this role, you will identify and assist the hiring of skilled contingent staff into Council and support recruitment generally as required for Council. You will bring to the role a proven track record in talent acquisiton specifically in the contingent workforce sector along with the abiltiy to build strong working relationships with hiring managers, recritment agencies and candidates.
You will play an active role in establising a new PCD centralised model for all contingent workforce needs which will include implementation of the internal service, educating hiring managers on new process, esablishing new ways of working with hiring managers - from initial brief to placement and helping to develop a suite of reports for department managers and executives.

You are a dynamic and experienced HR/Recruitment professional with a passion for driving positive change within an organisation. Your ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and external recruitment agencies is second to none. You excel at talent acquisition, operational and strategic sourcing and evaluating candidates skills, experience and culture fit.

Employment Requirements
A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources with a minimum of a Certificate II in Human Resources or relevant experience
Proven experience in the provision of centralised recruitment services within in organisation
Proven experience in the provision of contingent/temporary staff labour
