About CatholicCare NT
CatholicCare NT is a Territory wide NGO with place based services across Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Wadeye, Daly River, Tiwi Islands, Jabiru and Southeast Alice Springs.
We provide a broad range of family counselling and support, financial wellbeing, domestic and family violence programs, housing, aged care advocacy, AOD, mental health, employment, and community development programs.
These programs are variously funded through NT and Australian Government contracts.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Regional Manager to provide onsite leadership and service development in the Katherine region.
This position is vital for maintaining high-quality service delivery across various programs, including counselling and domestic violence prevention, while focusing on expanding services and building partnerships with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include identifying service gaps, collaborating to develop solutions, supervising staff to enhance leadership capacity, and contributing to the overall development of the organisation.
This role is an exciting opportunity to enhance your leadership skills, while working directly with impactful and enriching programs to enhance outcomes in the community.
What we are looking for
- Relevant qualification in Social Work or related field and demonstrated expertise in at least one of the core areas of service delivery for this region (counselling, financial wellbeing, housing support, family support and domestic violence prevention).
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and other services.
- At least 5 years’ experience in managing and supporting diverse staff groups, including the capacity to provide strong leadership and supervision to staff and foster positive team culture.
