Job Title: Renderer (Solid Plaster) Work Location: Our warehouse is based in Banksmeadow 2019, but you will be working all over Sydney. Hours: Full-time hours, typically from 7am – 3:30pm. Overtime and after-hours work will be available from time to time. Salary: $75,500 - $85,500 per year + Superannuation

Today, Super Render is a specialist façade operation led by highly qualified engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers. They marshal a fully-trained and skilled field force of in-house renderers, painters and caulkers across five divisions: New Buildings, Decorative & Special finishes, Facade upgrades and compliance, remedial and restoration projects, express and emergency fixes.
About the role:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Renderer (Solid Plaster) to carry out essential plastering and concrete restoration work, ensuring all repairs are completed to the highest standard of workmanship and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and clean surfaces by removing old plaster, concrete, dust, and debris before applying new materials.
- Treat rusted steel reinforcement using mechanical tools and apply anti-corrosion primers.
- Mix plaster or repair mortar to appropriate consistency using manual or mechanical methods.
- Apply plaster coats or repair mortars (including base and finishing layers) to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Work with a variety of materials, including cement render, lime plaster, and gypsum-based products.
- Create smooth or textured finishes as specified by the client or project requirements.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine plastering scope.
- Install corner beads, wire mesh, and other reinforcement components as necessary.
- Adhere to relevant occupational health and safety standards throughout all work activities.
To be successful, you need to have:
- Demonstrated experience working with a range of plastering and concrete repair materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Understanding of and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
