What you'll be doing
Join a dynamic team advancing mental health research at Westmead Hospital. This role supports academic staff in a range of psychiatric studies. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Assisting with clinical trials and ethics submissions
- Coordinating data entry, analysis, and reporting
- Supporting grant writing and collaborations
- Conducting literature reviews and edit manuscripts
- Helping recruit participants and manage study logistics

Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: Degree in Psychology or a qualification deemed equivalent by the employer
- Registration: Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
- Ability to collect and enter data from questionnaires and manage a database
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with other health professionals
- High level of computer literacy including skills in literature searching
- Skills in quantitative data analysis
- Clinical research experience in bipolar disorder, early psychosis or other severe mental illnesses would be advantageous
