About the role
Join a passionate team driving the future of sustainable investing as a Research and Engagement Analyst. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering high-impact research and stakeholder engagement that enhances the performance and visibility of Perpetual Group’s sustainable and impact funds, including those under the Regnan brand. Your work will help deliver real-world outcomes that make a lasting difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply Regnan’s proprietary assessment frameworks to analyse ESG, sustainability, and impact factors for securities including stocks and bonds.
- Conduct research to support the use of positive and negative screening in investment products.
- Support and participate in Regnan’s thematic research program.
- Support the Regnan engagement program, through research, coordination of, and preparation for, meetings and reporting on engagement activities with issuers and stakeholders, to internal and external clients.
- Work collaboratively with Group boutiques to support their ESG, sustainability and impact goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualifications in environment, sustainability, social policy, or a related field are highly regarded.
- Around 2 to 3 years of experience with sustainability or ESG-related issues.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication abilities, including advanced writing and presentation skills.
- Proven organisational and information management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of investment markets is preferred.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for driving positive change.
