Why This Role is for You
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Restoration Technician to join our Sydney team, primarily covering Sydney and surrounds. While the role is ideally to be based from Sydney near our office in Mascot, we’re open to considering candidates based from the Illawarra.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety - one day, you’ll be on-site conducting moisture surveys and the other hands on relocating and processing contents keeping everyday fresh and dynamic.
You’ll be responsible for assessing and restoring damaged building and contents across the region, working on diverse projects that require a high level of expertise. You’ll also play a key role in report documentation, managing workflows, and ensuring each job is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Who We’re Looking For
- Hands-on skills – Comfortable with material removals (e.g., carpet, skirting, plasterboard) and contents processing when required.
- Project execution – Ability to deliver differing work orders, manage workflows, report writing and juggle multiple restoration projects.
- Tech-savvy approach – Experience using tablets, smartphones, and workflow management systems (Prime experience is a plus!).
- Driver’s Licence & White Card – Essential for this role.
- Willingness to travel – This role requires daily travel across Sydney and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to all our services areas such as the Illawarra, Southern Highlands and the Central Coast as well as overnight stays as needed.
- Exceptional communication & time management – You’re organised, proactive, and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- Restoration expertise – Experience in restoration and remedial work, including water extractions, mould remediation, and structural drying is highly regarded but not essential.
What You’ll Do
- Travel across Sydney assessing and restoring damaged building and contents including occasional travel across all our services areas
- Conduct assessments, moisture surveys, site measurements, and photo documentation, uploading findings into our workflow management system, Prime.
- Perform hands-on restoration work, including water extraction, structural drying, contents processing and mould remediation.
- Balance on-site restoration work with office-based communication.
