Foodland Port Noarlunga South is well established Foodland supermarket in the community and prides themselves on the strong Fresh Food offer.
We have a very friendly experienced team looking for a positive, and experienced Butcher who can assist our departments expand and grow.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to perform consistent quality work to a high standard while unsupervised.
Major duties and responsibilities will include;
- Deliver high retail standards within the Meat department
- Cutting, preparing and packaging a variety of meats to customer specifications
- Monitoring stock levels and placing orders to ensure a consistent supply of quality meats
- Assist with the waste control practices within the store
- Maintain Food Safety & Occupational Health and Safety Standards
- Provide excellent customer service, with high level communication and interpersonal skills
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Butcher, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment
- Thorough knowledge of various meat cuts, preparation techniques and food safety regulations
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice to customers
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other staff members
Suitable candidates must be motivated and enthusiastic. This is an employment opportunity and potentially a fulltime role.
Applicants will be required to work a variety of shifts over a 7 day period.

Pay: $32.00 – $34.00 per hour
