About The Role
Due to ongoing business development and growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Retail Sales Associate to join our New Trucks Sales team and be part of our 2025/2026 Sales Associate Programme. Based at our Forrestfield dealership, this role will provide on the job training, 1 on 1 coaching and mentoring on new Mack and Volvo Trucks Sales products, processes, and procedures.
This role will see you:
- Developing and generating new business through cold calls, leads, and referrals
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Tailoring sales strategies or meet the needs of the business and clients
- Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Staying informed on industry and products trends
- Managing the end-to-end sales process, including coordinate delivery, licensing, and documentation for vehicles sold
The Successful Applicant
We are seeking a results-driven professional with a strong background in sales and a genuine interest in the commercial truck industry. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven sales experience or experience in a dealership/ heavy duty environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Self-motivation, with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Solid technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and explain truck specifications, configurations, and industry applications
- Proficiency in CRM systems and general digital tools used in modern sales processes
- A valid driver’s license (HR Licence preferred or willingness to obtain)
