About the role
As the Roster Coordinator you are the key to our success in ensuring our rosters meet our participants care needs while balancing staffs preferred availabilities, unplanned leave and NDIS funding limitations.
You will achieve this by building and maintaining close working relationships with our team members and applying your knowledge of SCHADS to ensure compliance, staff work life balance and cost-effective rostering
Location: 3 days per week Waitara and 2 days per week Pennant Hills
Classification: Full time permanent
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay: SCHADS level 4 + super + salary packaging + Leave loading
Duties
- Working closely with the Team Leaders, Activity Leaders, and Managers with regards to ongoing staffing needs.
- Developing and maintaining rosters to ensure appropriate levels of staffing to meet participant needs.
- Ensuring all roster changes, cancellations, leave requests are promptly updated, filled and communicated to all the stakeholders.
- Approve shifts for both employees and participants, verifying against the run sheet.
- Participating in ongoing training of new employees in the rostering system.
- Recording any training sessions or meetings in Carelink.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence and access to your own insured vehicle.
- Ability to complete a National Police Check.
- Use of rostering software such as CareLink and Human Force and /or extensive rostering experience.
- Knowledge of Person-Centred Approach and the NDIS Quality Safeguarding Standards.
- Relevant qualifications and/ or extensive relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Able to meet deadlines while matching client needs with employee skills.
