About the role
The Safety and Quality Advisor will assist with compliance, quality improvement, privacy requirements and risk management across the organisation as per ATSICHS Brisbane's Quality System Manual. They will implement and monitor elements of the quality management systems regarding compliance for all ATSICHS services, this includes auditing of quality systems, aligning quality processes across the organisation and implementing accreditation standards as needed.
Duties
- Audit timetable management: liaise with external auditors, create timetables of events with relevant managers, book rooms and communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Provide information to organisation regarding requirements to meet accreditation standards.
- Assist in creating and deliver any training required to meet accreditation standards.
- Update organisational policy and processes to meet changes in the requirements of relevant legislation and peak bodies.
- Assist in developing organisation continuous quality improvements through project management processes, including consultation and reporting.
- Maintain a high level of consistency and accountability when actioning scheduled tasks in LogiQC.
- Assist in managing and monitoring quality compliances for the organisation and identify processes to raise the usage and quality of the system.
- Attend and participate in team-based meetings and workplace activities.
- Create and maintain project documentation as required including recording of risks and issues.
- Provide service delivery in line with your team's Service Level Agreement (SLA) with a key focus on customer service.
- Annual base salary of $86,858 (depending on qualifications and experience).
- Permanent full-time position.

COVID - 19 Requirements
- Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged.
Required
- Diploma of higher-level qualification in Workplace Health and Safety/Business/Administrative field or similar.
- At least 3 years' experience with Accreditation processes for HSQF, AGPAL, NDIS, ISO, Aged Care or another relevant standard.
- Demonstrated ability or experience in arranging accreditation audits, including gap analyses, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, evidence presentations and preparation of audit day timetables.
- Demonstrated knowledge of specific requirements of various accreditation standards and relevant legislation.
- Current Drivers Licence (QLD).
- Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain.
- Working with Children's Crad (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.
- Disability Worker Screening (Yellow Card) or be eligible to apply.
- Willing to travel to our other locations.
- Previous experience in Safety, Compliance and/or Privacy Roles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Privacy legislation and implementation in organisations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Work, Health and Safety laws.
- Experience in operating a quality Management System Database.
