As a trusted partner to the Australian Government, we lead critical airborne special missions, from border surveillance to life-saving search-and-rescue operations, covering over 10% of the Earth’s surface. Your New Role and Responsibilities


Support the Head of Aviation Safety, Quality and Security in managing and improving our Safety Management System and Flight Data Analysis Program. Ensure integrity of safety data, deliver insight-driven reporting, and help build a Zero Harm workplace culture.


  • Manage and enhance the Safety Management System (SMS) and Flight Data Analysis Program (FDAP).


  • Analyse and report on flight data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.


  • Support safety investigations, audits, and proactive risk assessments across operations.


  • Develop safety training, communications, and reports to support regulatory and organisational goals.

What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact


  • Demonstrated analytical, investigative, and prioritisation skills.


  • Experience in aviation safety or operations, with relevant qualifications in safety, auditing, or human factors.


Desired:


  • Strong knowledge of Safety Management Systems and the CASA SMS Framework.


  • Proven expertise in flight data monitoring and analysis programs.
