Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and guiding the sales team to achieve
and exceed sales targets. They will develop strategic sales plans based on company
goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. The
Sales Manager will also have a key role in management of client relationships and
negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies: Formulate sales strategies to
achieve the company’s sales goals and increase revenue.
- Lead and motivate sales team: Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to
sales staff, ensuring a high level of engagement and performance.
- Market analysis: Conduct research and analysis of market trends, customer
needs, and competitive offerings to develop innovative strategies for reaching
potential customers.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting
customer relationships. Handle difficult client situations and customer
complaints swiftly and professionally.
- Sales forecasting: Analyse sales data from your team and use it to forecast
sales trends, determine the efficacy of sales strategies, and improve the
department's performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to establish
successful support, channel, and partner programs.
- Reporting: Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts to senior management.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related
field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in a sales role with the ability to meet or exceed
targets. Previous experience in a managerial role is preferred.
