About the Role
Are you a detail-driven problem solver with a passion for operational excellence? Swinburne University is seeking a dynamic Scheduling Specialist to play a pivotal role in crafting seamless academic and exam timetables that support student success and teaching efficiency.

In this role, you’ll collaborate across departments to manage complex scheduling systems, ensure data integrity, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance the use of campus resources. From leading timetable builds to supporting invigilated exams and mentoring peers, your work will directly impact the student journey.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring strong systems knowledge (like Syllabus Plus and Student One), and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in higher education.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including the ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds, with highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated, superior skills in system implementations, the use of databases, web development and a variety of Microsoft products.


Qualifications
  • A degree in a relevant area of study, with at least five years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant University experience and education/training
