Freycinet Adventures offers award winning guided sea kayak tours located at the door step of the breathtakingly beautiful region of Freycinet National Park in Tasmania. An extension of Freycinet Lodge, we specialise in providing immersive and unforgettable experiences. Our mission is to connect people with nature and foster a deep appreciation for the natural wonders of this unique part of the world. Located approximately 2.5 hours from Hobart or Launceston, Freycinet Adventures is nestled in the popular holiday town of Coles Bay.

What you’ll do:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Kayak Guide to join our team in this casual role. As a Guide, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have a safe, educational, and a memorable adventure while exploring the stunning landscapes of Freycinet National Park.
We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for Tasmania’s remote, wild places.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience and skills in conducting kayak adventure tours
- Possess sound knowledge of risk management practices
- A reputation for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experience
- A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Possession of a current Workplace 2 First Aid certificate / equivalent
- Possession of a current manual Motor Vehicle Drivers license
- Knowledge of Tasmania’s natural and cultural history or ability to learn
- Problem solving skills including the ability to apply mathematical skills in a workplace context
- Possession of a current Tasmanian Work With Vulnerable People Card
- Qualification in Enclosed Sea Kayak Certification or A Sea Guide Certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
