As our Seasonal Forklift Driver you’ll be working at a facility where you’ll be responsible for safely operating a Forklift and sorting parcels in preparation for delivery, providing a vital service to our local community during our busiest time of the year.
We're now hiring for our seasonal period. Seasonal team members generally commence across October and November and depending on parcel volume, assisting us to deliver until around Christmas.
You’ll be paid:
- Seasonal Forklift Drivers (21 years or older) are paid $34.45 per hour, including casual loading, plus 12% superannuation
- Junior rates apply to applicants under 21 years old
- Some roles may also attract penalty rates for overtime, evening, and weekend work
- 12% superannuation rate

Multiple Shift Times Available located in Dandenong South:
Choose which shift you prefer:
- 10:00pm to 3:00am Monday to Friday
- 4:00pm to 9:00pm Monday to Friday
You’ll be
- Using a Forklift, loading and unloading mail from mail bags, trays, containers and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices)
- Sorting parcels and mail (manually or machine-assisted) with the use of scanners
- Working across sophisticated processing equipment and lines
- Operating and using load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers whilst cooperating with operations staff to get the mail into the facility
About you
- You hold a valid LF Forklift License
- You enjoy a physical role, can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly, have a great memory and attention to detail
- You're safety conscious and able to safely operate equipment such as conveyors, loading/lifting devices including pallet jacks to load and unload parcels from trucks and vans
- You enjoy a fast paced environment where compliance checks are required
- You’re comfortable handling parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products
