About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an Information Security Coordinator to join the ASC team! Reporting to the Classified Information Security Lead, you will deliver effective Information Security services and successfully ensure the business meets its compliance requirements for data management.
Responsibilities:
As an Information Security Coordinator, you will ensure the effective and compliant operation, implementation, administration, rectification, coordination, and management of all processes in relation to Information Security under ASC Security’s remit, including systems and measures concerning security at ASC’s main and satellite sites.
You will liaise with the Defence Security Division, NSSG Security Officer Collins Submarine Program, ASIO and other external agencies when required. A particular focus of this role will be the scanning and digitisation of historical information.
About You:
Ideally you will have:
- Qualification in Security and/or Risk Management or directly related field.
- Experience with information management/archiving.
- Experience with technical data.
- Familiarity with DSPF/ISM/PSPF and any other relevant policies.
- An understanding of Digital Media and the correct sanitisation and handling requirements.
- High level competency with Microsoft suite of software, data entry, and knowledge of Information Security in relation to DISP and/or Defence.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Highly driven and motivated to achieve positive business and customer focused outcomes.
Eligibility:
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, and an NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance; is it also subject to Export Control Restrictions. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
