About the role and team
This fast-paced role sits within a team of 3 Security Coordinators. You'll provide alarm and CCTV monitoring, field security based questions from staff at all levels and provide general security duties including visible measures such as patrols and badge protocols to assist with our client's security needs. Communication skills are essential in the role, being required to man the security help desk function, speaking to our client's staff, with people at all levels of their organisation.
The role works on a 6-week rotating roster across 3 shifts, Monday - Friday 0630-1430 /0800-1600/ 1100-1900. An expectation exists to be available from time to time to take on some after hours work during after hours/weekend maintenance requirements and functions held on site by the client.
In the role you will:
- Assist with the telephone call centre helpdesk function for our corporate client's internal security phone lines and emergency line, speaking to staff at all levels of the organisation.
- Remote incident response and coordination, for instance, liaising with internal and external staff regarding security matters, including emergency calls to triple zero and police.
- Security service bookings and dispatch of guards, roving patrol teams, and technicians, as well as coordinating with our client's contractors.
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports in our client's database.
- Monitor CCTV and alarms, and use building management systems. Use standard computer systems such as the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook and Microsoft Word.

What we're looking for
- NSW Security Licence
- Monitoring Centre experience - not essential
- Certificate II or III in Security Operations
- Willingness to work a Monday to Friday
- Great communication skills
