The role
The Security Department plays an important role in ensuring Crown is not only safe but a welcoming place for all our guests.
We are currently seeking Part Time experienced & entry level Security Services Officers to join our team! This career opportunity provides you a dynamic, unique and professional 5-star facility to make a difference to the safety of our guests and develop your skills. This role also offers the chance to work in a variety of areas including our three hotels, gaming floor, events, conference centre, bars and restaurants.
In this role, you’ll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as:
- Provide crowd control and security demonstrated through customer focus, conflict/emergency management, incident response and negotiating
- Be an approachable team player who promotes a safe and engaging work environment
- Have exposure or understanding to demonstrate exceptional customer service
This role is a permanent Part Time position however availability to commit to 2 weeks FULL TIME training (Mon-Fri) upon commencement of employment is critical for the role (Monday 4th Aug - Friday 15th Aug)
About you
You’ll bring the following:
- Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts accommodating a 24/7 rotating roster, 2-4 shifts per week total (mainly weekends)
- Must have a current, valid Victorian Crowd Control License and Certificate II in Security Operations
- Be able to commit to two weeks full time training upon commencement of employment
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Casino Special Employee License (provided by us)
- Professionally presented with excellent communications skills
- You will need to undertake a national police check, credit check and physical assessment screening
