The role
The Digital & Transformation Team at South East Water (SEW) has implemented an exciting operational enhancement to better support the company's strategic priorities. This includes the creation of a Transformation Management Office (TMO) to enhance innovation and deliver greater business impact. As part of this transformation, several new roles now exist across the team.
We believe that digital and emerging technologies have a critical role to play in enabling us to provide the highest quality water and sewerage services for our customers, as efficiently as possible and ensure we deliver on our vision. As Senior Manager PMO, you will lead the delivery of technology and business solutions and will require strong financial oversight, governance expertise, and a commitment to best practice project delivery.
A critical influencer, collaborator and leader, you will be responsible for leading the Project Management and Business Analysis teams, whilst supporting the Enterprise PMO and Transformation Office.
Who are you?
Reporting into the Group Manager, Transformation and Leading both the Project Management and Business Analysis teams, the Senior Manager PMO will possess proven experience in technology delivery, portfolio management and/or IT leadership roles. Candidates will require the following key skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience with system integrations, software development life cycles and Agile methodologies
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to develop and enhance portfolio management tools and frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and financial principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Effective time management and task prioritisation across multiple responsibilities.
