Job Description
Join our transformation journey as a Senior HCM Systems Specialist and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing our People & Culture technology landscape across the Asia-Pacific region.
What You'll Do
Drive the planning, delivery, and support of cutting-edge HCM technology solutions, with Workday HCM as your primary focus. You'll design and implement solutions across Core HCM, Absence, Compensation, and Performance modules while managing multiple stakeholders and fostering collaboration between Finance, Technology, and P&C teams.
As our primary system-of-record for all APAC employees, Workday HCM is central to our operations. You'll be instrumental in enhancing our capabilities and supporting our continued growth in this dynamic region.
This highly collaborative position connects you with the People Technology & Insights team, cross-functional partners, and third-party vendors. Reporting directly to the HCM Technology Senior Manager, you'll have the support and autonomy to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand and maintain the overall P&C technology eco-system in partnership with the Finance and Technology teams, as well as the various third-party vendors (including the Application Management Services provider)
- Serve as a strong consultative partner with the P&C function and with business stakeholders, to continuously improve service delivery, including facilitation and requirements gathering while serving as a subject matter expert on Workday’s capabilities
- Apply strong Workday functional design and configuration capabilities. Strong configuration capability in modules like Absence, Core HCM, Talent, Compensation and Advanced Compensation
- Fully participate in all areas of prioritising, delivery, including the application of the continuous improvement framework to the existing business processes
- Key contributor in the delivery of the overall P&C Technology roadmap
- Effective problem solving and managing defect resolutions, triaging and escalations
- Develop and lead policy/ process training, promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team and stakeholders and assist in testing integrations and security features.
Qualifications
Skills and experience
- Experience of ideally 5+ years in configuring Workday to business requirements. Ideally experience in Absence, Core, Talent and Compensation is desired
- Workday HCM and Absence training and certification/s, with a ‘hands-on’ solution delivery
- Evaluation of new releases and functionality for optimisation opportunities, configure and implement business process changes in Workday
- Strong attention to detail and planning capability, with ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and coordinate with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to facilitate and gather business requirements, user needs and translate them into pragmatic digital solutions
- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills, including demonstrated experience in relationship building and collaborating with stakeholders across geographies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that can be adapted to range of business scenarios, with ability to communicate with impact.
- A desire to learn, grow, network and mentor others
