Bruce Rock Engineering is seeking an experienced Service Manager who will be responsible for the day to day running of the Service and Repairs division at our Forrestfield facility. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of site machinery and road transport equipment, as well as external customer repairs.
This position includes/offers:

· Monday - Friday local role

Key Responsibilities for this position include:
- Leading the Service and Repairs team to ensure the effective and timely delivery of repairs and maintenance to internal and external trailers and machinery.
- Providing support and guiding a team of tradespeople, trade assistants and apprentices to ensure timeframes are met in a safe and timely manner.
- Rostering of team to ensure sufficient coverage of work whilst prioritising work schedules to meet organisation production targets.
- Conducting and leading Toolbox Meetings to ensure consistency of standards, including contractors that are working on site.
- Quoting on new jobs and parts acquisitions as needed for jobs to be completed.
- Development of maintenance schedules/preventative maintenance.
- Support and adhere to state and federal legislation.
- Investigate, identify, and report on incidents, both internally within the team and customer related.
- Follow systems and procedures and ensure checklists and paperwork completed in timely manner.
- Promoting a safe, clean, and hazard free work environment, whilst ensuring team members are complying with the safety standards set out from BRE.
- Reporting on budget, targets and OHS requirements.
- Support and endorse the Bruce Rock Engineering (BRE) Group purpose, mission statement, and values.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum 2 Years’ experience in repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- 2+ years’ experience within a managerial position.
- Experience in heavy duty road transport (trucks and trailers) repairs, maintenance, and servicing.
- CMS Systems experience.
- Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines.
