The role
We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join our Crown events team leading our front of house operations across a variety of events, from small gathering to large scale functions. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service, managing a team and ensuring each event runs seamlessly from start to finish.
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, service focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. If you have a strong background in events operations, love leading a team to success and taking pride in creating memorable experiences for our clients and guests, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the coordination, operation and execution of various events including venue set up, food and beverage service, impeccable guest service and staff management
- Liaising, coordinating, and cooperating with Event Organisers to ensure the seamless operation of functions
- Liaise efficiently and effectively with other departments in particular kitchens, Events Planning and Event Sales
- Conducting pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
About you
You’ll bring the following:
- Previous experience servicing large scale events
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A passion for providing exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications
To be successful, you'll:
Hold a current RSA certificate & current Approved Managers Card
