Wescott Industrial Services Australia are looking for a full time Site Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at demolition/construction sites. We are seeking a person who can ensure that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise projects to uphold schedule requirements and quality demands
· Review drawings, specifications, change orders and other documents associated with projects prior to start of work onsite.
· Oversee the day-to-day activities of workers on-site and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
· Manage and supervise a team of site staff members to ensure safety, quality
control and efficient operations.
· Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
· Hold safety meetings and monitor workers' adherence to safety protocols.
· Regularly update on the project’s progress to the Operations Manager or other relevant stakeholders.
· Maintain logs of activities, incidents, and inspections.
· Ensure that all required materials, tools, and equipment are available, of required standard and used correctly on-site.
· Ensure compliance with all local building regulations and environmental laws.
Qualifications:
· Diploma or higher Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a Trade
· At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry
· Construction White Card
· Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
· Familiarity with project management software
· Ability to solve problems and think critically under pressure.
Remuneration:
Salary commensurate with experience in the range $73,000 - $80,000 + superannuation
