Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Construction Laborer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience, particularly in remedial and residential construction. This is a full-time, ongoing position with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, a valid driver's licence, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general manual labour
- Assisting trades and site supervisors with day-to-day tasks
- Carrying out demolition, preparation, and general construction work
- Demolition work
- Assist trades on site
- Operate power tools
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment as required
- Ensure work is completed to high standards and in accordance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople and contractors to ensure smooth site operations
- Perform site clean-up and ensure all materials and tools are properly stored and maintained
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction
- White Card
- Ability to safely undertake tasks without constant supervision
- Work effectively as a team member
- Punctuality, reliability and willingness to be flexible
- Physically fit and able to handle manual labour
- Ability to follow instructions and problem-solve on the go
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to interact with clients in a positive, courteous and respectful manner
- Valid driver’s license is required
