About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media & Photography officer to join our team. This role is integral to capturing and sharing the vibrant life of our Academy across all campuses. The successful candidate will work closely with our Branding and Marketing Manager to produce streamlined, captivating, and professional visual content that reflects the values and identity of the Academy.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
· Attend and photograph school events, activities, and milestones across our four campuses.
· Capture high-quality images and video content that highlight student achievements and school culture.
· Create engaging social media posts and campaigns across multiple platforms.
· Collaborate with the Branding and Marketing Manager to ensure all content aligns with AIA’s branding guidelines.
· Assist with content planning, scheduling, and activities to support school marketing initiatives.
About You/Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience in photography, social media content creation, or a similar creative role.
· Strong technical skills in photography, photo editing, and digital content production.
· A keen eye for detail, with the ability to capture meaningful and compelling moments.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Flexibility to travel between campuses and attend school events as required (some after-hours work may be necessary).
Prerequisites
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) – essential.
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Experience using industry-standard photography and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
- Familiarity with managing and creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Previous experience in a school or education environment (desirable).
Child Safety Responsibilities

· Work collaboratively to represent the Academy’s values and mission through their work.
· Undertake regular Child Safe professional learning and development on campus and off campus.
· Attending annual ‘Mandatory Reporting’ - Child Safe professional development learning.
