Building Strong Foundations (BSF) provide a free, culturally safe and appropriate early childhood health service for Aboriginal children from birth to school entry age and their families. The service is provided by teams of Aboriginal health workers and child and family health nurses and at times supported by other allied health therapists including social workers.

The BSF service works with families, parents, carers, and the local community, to support the health, growth and development of Aboriginal children, so they are able to fully engage in life and learning.

If you have a passion to for the next generation and improving the physical, social, emotional and cultural wellbeing of Aboriginal children, families and communities and are highly skilled in Child and Family Health Practice? Help us to provide the building strong foundations program in our district.

As a Social Worker you are an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team. You will need to lead in an environment of constant change, improvement in the quality and efficiency of services.

You will join one of the world’s leading and connected rural health services as a Social Worker where we are driven by a single goal; healthier rural people- thriving communities.

Passion for coordinating support for patients while they're in the care of our health services is at the heart of this position. The Social Worker is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing quality services to patients and clients of the WNSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs
