Software Tester & QA Analyst

We have an opportunity for a Software Tester to join our Melbourne team. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in our Hawthorn office.

About the role:

• Creation and execution of manual test cases.
• Functional verification of new or modified product features.
• Testing integration between internal systems/software and third-party systems and applications.
• Analysis and documentation of test results.
• Conduct stress testing and analysis of results.
• Usability & User Acceptance Testing – Work with Product Owner to ensure requirements are met.
• Perform initial debugging of code to identify the cause.

About you:

• Experience of creation and execution of manual test cases.
• Ability to configure and manage IIS websites, MSSQL and Oracle (including SQL queries) and virtualisation tools: Vmware, Virtualbox.
• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports.
• Exposure to Web Page development including HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and XSLT.
• Experience with one or more JavaScript/HTML UI testing frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and task management skills.
• Ability to write and maintain coherent, accurate, useful and readable documentation.
• Ability and willingness to work with own initiative, improve current knowledge and skills and be open to challenges.
